Happy belated Easter everyone~

Friday & Saturday I was at Sakura-con~ It was fun, but so exhausting! I didn't get much sleep before Friday, having only slept a total of 30 mins before I headed there. I've been up working on art the last week. GUH.

Friday I spent the first 2 1/2 hours of my day in the registration line. Man, I really should remember to get shoes that can support my feet standing for such a long period of time. =_=;; Especially since they don't let you sit in line. By the time I got up there, these rude Homestuck girl cosplayers bolted right in front of me, and this chick had to leave for 10 mins after the registration guy put in her information, because she needed to get money out of the atm. REALLY? YOU DIDN'T HAVE THE MONEY READY? C'MON! I'm a fairly patient person, but I seriously wanted to deck this girl in the face, we've been waiting in line for how long and you just now realize you aren't prepared? But whatever. I felt bad for my sister because she had to wait 4 hours after getting there about an hour after me. @_@;;;

After reg, I met up with for the first time, and he surprised me with an awesome print he made up of all the Sakuracon peeps he was gonna meet. It's super cute! :3 Then we hung out for a bit, got some grub and drinks from Tully's, and walked around the con. When I got to the dealer's hall however, I got charlie horses in both my legs on my calves, paralyzing me for a good ten minutes in the middle of the walkway. I seriously couldn't move until it went away. I was kinda scared. ;A; It was probably due to lack of sleep, and standing for a long period of time since the morning. Kinda freaked my sister out (who was still in line) and my mom (who ended up calling me concerned). XD;; But I survived, and I was able to continue the rest of the day. Met up with Disko Warp and got some CDs and goodies from them! And then when my sister got out of reg, met up with her and her bf and walked around the con some more. Got to chat a tiny bit with Neolucky and Patches. Watched a very strange Korean animated short called 'Coffee Samurai', and ended the night playing Pop'n Music with , who I severely missed for the last 2 years. ;o; Playing the game with you was just like old times. Since I was scared for my legs, I rested in my sis's hotel until my roomie came and picked me up. I wanted to sleep so bad when I got home, but I drew a little bit more and then tried to get some rest. Since both me and my roomie couldn't sleep, he ended up showing me a scary ass Korean comic that basically made it so I was unable to sleep until it was like way early in the morning.

Saturday I was supposed to go to the con at noon, and then from 2-3 I was supposed to be at the Disko Warp booth to sign CDs. I didn't wake up till 2:30. -_- So I missed being there, felt super miserable awful, and then when I got there I couldn't even meet up with my sis right away. They were in autograph lines and a panel, and I missed the amigurumi panel I wanted to go to with her earlier. Didn't end up sitting at the booth because by the time I got there it was too late. I did get to meet up with Ramzkun again, and also met again, and sasaki for the first time. Also met another guy, sadly I forgot his name. ;o; Super nice people! Onna gave me the cutest little RPG style badge of Shizuki. <333 I will scan it soon. Then I met up with again real quick before waiting in line for the Kanon Wakeshima/Moi Dix Mois concert. Which was effin AMAZING. Wakeshima is the CUTEST thing and she is super talented! Wow. And I felt the little high school J-rocker girl inside me all happy-like when Moi Dix Mois was on stage. I was expecting not to like it as much because I haven't been into J-rock as much anymore, but I was pleasantly surprised. They were just awesome.

I feel bad I wasn't able to hang out and do some of the things I meant to do while I was there, but all in all it was really fun. I wish I could have bought something at the dealer's hall, because they had a shit ton of amazing cute stuffed animals I needed in my life. ;A; SO MANY CUTES. And what the fack, 80% of the cosplayers I saw were Homestuck and MLP. I didn't really take any pictures because of this. There was like, nothing amazing to photograph. :I Kinda glad I didn't go today. Well 1) I have to do Ustream today, still need to make that cash-cash/money-money. LOL and 2) my legs are telling me NO MORE DAMNIT. One thing I did realize was how much I miss selling at Artist Alley. I really need to start doing it again, maybe next year (with my sissy perhaps).

AND!  I found out my sister won first place in the mascot contest!  Congratulations to her!  I'm sure she'll post it up soon!

Super special thanks to all who I met up with and gave me gifts, I wish I had more time to give something back in return. I was planning on having things to give out, but sadly didn't get the chance to do so. I will be more prepared next time I hope.
