One of my leftovers from 2008.

I used to be a huge Sonic the Hedgehog comics fan, and I always thought Sally was pretty! :D In fact, in grade school they called me "Sonic Girl" because I was ALWAYS drawing Sonic the Hedgehog characters and bringing new issues of the comic book in. Ahh childhood.

Inked in Open Canvas 4.06 and colored in SAI.

i missed buying the comics, i loved reading them since i was a kid X3 gives me so much imagination ha ha..yeah ^^; anyways the more i think about sally being a chipmunk, the more i wonder why she doesn't have the buck tooth or even the stripes on the back....guess they want to make her look more appealing LOL unless i have my species wrong with her. Still like this even though i seen this too on FA ^w^

In earlier issues in the letters section it was stated she was half-chipmunk/half-squirrel. Which is why her brother and father have the long tails and she and her mother don't. Don't takes letter as canon, though, because they stated Sonic to be 16 numerous times and yet Sonic celebrated his sixteenth birthday after those answers. I haven't read the comic in a long time, they started to take TOO much from the games, damaging their own plots in the process.

Quite frankly, the 50th issue was the end of the last great arc...I haven't been able to get into them much since then, and lately they are kind of boring...

As for the picture, its awsome! You should do one of old pink Sally in this style! :3

You do know who I mean, right? EAARLLY Sally, in the first issues. She was pink. :3 And I think your style would portray her well. She is (sort-of) canon (Sonic continuity is kind of screwed up in the earlier issues. XD). I prefer this version of Sally, but pink Sally seems more...pin-up-ish. *fail*

oooh, now i remember, pink with black hair eh? i remember seeing that when i bought a sonic kids book in the bookfair when i was in elementary school XD mmm...nah, i don't feel like drawing sally at the moment, but someone has =3
